Kindness Week

The Indian Trail Safe School Ambassadors participated in a Kindness Week Celebration. Students were rewarded for random acts of kindness with certificates displayed on the Kindness Wall.

Red Nose Day

Frank students and staff wore red noses donated from Kenosha Walgreens stores in honor of Red Nose Day. Red Nose Day is a campaign dedicated to raising money for children living in poverty.

Reenactment

A Kenosha Civil War Museum actor gave Whittier third-graders a real-life learning experience as she reenacted Caroline Quarlls, a 16-year-old fugitive slave and first passenger on Wisconsin’s Underground Railroad.

Literacy Project

The Carthage-Reuther Literacy Project completed its third writing contest and its fourth year as a collaborative partnership project to engage students in reading and writing.
