Standards, Benchmarks, and Most Essential Benchmarks
A standard is a summary description of what students should know and be able to do within a specific content area. The benchmarks accompanying each standard are clear, specific descriptions of knowledge or skill that students acquire by/in a particular grade level or course. The Kenosha Unified School District No. 1 Standards are aligned with state standards and the Wisconsin Knowledge and Concepts Examination (WKCE) Assessment Frameworks.
