KUSD Summer Student Art Show on the lake

Kenosha Unified School District’s 2017 Summer Student Art Show will again be presented in tandem with the Friends of the Museum Annual Kenosha Art Fair at the Kenosha Civil War Museum, 5400 1st Ave., on Sunday, July 16, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Student art will remain on display through Thursday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Civil War Museum. This event is free and open to public.

This year’s event will feature over 1,000 juried student art pieces. Exceptional artwork will be recognized with a range of awards, such as Awards of Merit, Ribbons of Excellence/Distinction/Merit, and collection awards selected by the Office of the Mayor, Kenosha Area Business Alliance, KUSD Superintendent, KUSD Board President and others.

The annual art fair scheduled for Sunday, July 16, features both indoor and outdoor booths of more than 100 artists and crafters from across the country. Participants can enjoy music, food and a hands-on art tent for kids.
