choirKenosha Choir Boosters

The Kenosha Choir Boosters, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization which exists to promote and support the many offerings and opportunities of the Kenosha Unified School District Choral Music program. The group is comprised of parents and grandparents of both current and present choir members who volunteer at both District-wide and school-wide events including Choral Festival, Solo/Ensemble Contest, Large Group Festival, concerts, and field trips. Meetings are generally the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm in the ESC building, 3600 52nd St.

The Boosters also sponsor summer music camp scholarships for middle school singers as well as college scholarships for graduating high school singers who go on to take a music course during their collegiate career.  The scholarship money comes from our annual fruit sale which begins in November.

The Mostaccioli Dinner is a new fund-raiser that began in January of 2010 to generate further funding for the individual school choral music programs. The event gives the various schools the opportunity for a short performance as their friends and family enjoy a delicious mostaccioli dinner. There are also wonderful raffle baskets from each school!
