On October 18, students in Mr. Sutkay’s Drafting, Electronics, and Machining classes attended a Manufacturing Day event at Filtration Group, a global market-leading provider of mission-critical filtration solutions designed to enable advanced healthcare capabilities, provide clean air and facilitate productivity. Students learned about the business and toured different departments to see the many different areas of manufacturing. They also had the opportunity to talk with employees in the field and some of KUSD’s Youth Apprenticeship students that are currently working at Filtration Group.
