IT Teacher | I am an educator with over 25 years of experience with KUSD. I began my teaching journey in 1998 at Bullen Middle School before transitioning to Lance Middle School in 2001. I’m certified to teach grades 1-9, and have had the opportunity to teach Science, Social Studies, Content Literacy, and 21st Century Skills, exclusively in the middle school setting throughout my career.. I have a deep passion for teaching, I spend my days advocating for engaging and inclusive learning environments for all students. Currently, I serve as an Instructional Technology teacher, dedicated to coaching educators on the effective integration of technology to enhance classroom experiences. Outside of my professional life, my family is deeply involved in education and pursuing their passions. My oldest son, Jefferson, utilizes his digital marketing degree from U.W. Whitewater to create content while following the Professional Disc Golf tour across the U.S. and posting his adventures to his monetized Disc Golf YouTube channel. Meanwhile, my youngest son, Keegan, is at U.W. Lacrosse, working towards his goal of becoming a sports psychologist. My husband is also part of the KUSD family, serving as a Coordinator in Teaching and Learning, overseeing Social Studies and English curriculum for grades 6-12. |
