Orchestra | I am Lindsay Pytel, and I have been teaching orchestra at Lance for 17 years. I am a product of the KUSD orchestra program and even attended Lance as a student. Now I have the opportunity to share my love of music and the enjoyment of performing in an ensemble with the Lance orchestra students every day! Outside of school, I enjoy reading, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, attending concerts, traveling to state capitals with my husband, and performing as a violinist with the Parkside Community Orchestra and the Kenosha Symphony Orchestra. |

Choir and General Music | My name is Mrs. Brianna Jandrowski, and I am thrilled to be your choir director at Lance Middle School. As a proud alumna of the Kenosha Unified School District, I have always had a deep love for music, which began during my own time as a student in the choir, theatre, and Madrigal programs. Now in my ninth year teaching in Kenosha and my third year at Lance, I am passionate about nurturing a love of music in my students and helping our choir program grow and thrive. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and listening to live music with my husband and hanging out with my big Italian family. I look forward to an exciting and successful year together! |
Mr. Maccari | ![]() |
Band | Mr. Maccari has been the band director at Lance for seven years and has been teaching for a total of 13 years. He grew up in Kenosha and is so grateful he gets to be a part of the band team in KUSD which made him enjoy music so much as a student in the program. He loves coming to Lance every day and getting to work with his band students who make everything about music a lot of fun.
Outside of the classroom, Mr. Maccari is an active musician, playing in local ensembles such as the Parkside Community Band and the Kenosha Pops Concert Band, as well as at some churches in Kenosha. In the summer you will find Mr. Maccari on the parade route with the Kenosha Rambler Band. Mr. Maccari loves to travel and has been able to visit places such as England, France, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, and Japan (thanks to being a musician, because these were all band trips!). In the USA, he has visited and performed music at Disney World, the United Nations building, and the national anthem at an MLB game. He also enjoys spending as much time as possible with his wife (Emily), son (Theo), and dog (Scout), and traveling with his family. |
