Tremper Theatre had a great weekend at the State Theatre Festival at UW-Milwaukee this past weekend. We performed Souvenir on Saturday for three judges, and after adjudication, we earned the following recognitions:
- Outstanding Technical Theatre
- Outstanding Ensemble (when all members of the production perform at a high level)
- Critic’s Choice (the highest recognition at State, when all three judges agree that all aspects of the production were at a high level)
Additionally, several students performed in the Thespys, which are individual events, and the following students received a high enough score to qualify for the National Festival:
- Dallen Arendt and Kaylissia Rodriguez – Acting Duet
- Maddie Fitzgerald – Acting Monologues
- Kaylissia Rodriguez – Acting Monologues
- Mauricio Rosales Jr. – Musical Solo
- Kaila Golien – Lighting Design
